DESCRIPTION:

This gorgeous bracelet is absolutely distinctive in each and every way! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Marie Bahe, out of genuine sterling silver and a real Turquoise stone. The stone is carefully placed in a hand cut bezel setting, while being accented by stamped mini silver beads, twisted silver, and hand cut silver work for an exquisite look. A total of THREE silver bars, including one bar made up of twisted silver, make up the cuff for a lovely finish. The bracelet is stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December.  It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness.  Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago.  Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico.  The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
