DESCRIPTION:
This remarkable pendant is a true showcase of Navajo craftsmanship! Hand crafted by Native American artist A. L., it is made from genuine sterling silver and 12 karat gold filled accents.
Overlay is a traditional process that uses at least two layers of sterling silver or gold. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is carefully cut and overlaid to create intricate designs. This pendant features finely detailed bear paw, water wave, mountain, and moon motifs, along with a bold geometric pattern, bordered by delicate stamped accents for a stunning finish.
The bear paw is a symbol of strength, courage, and healing, while the water wave design represents continuous life. These meaningful motifs combine to create a pendant rich in tradition and symbolism.
The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked “AL” by the artist.
12KGF is as good as gold. The color will never fade, change, or wear off. It is 12K gold on top of brass and other metals, which create a gold tone with a finish all the way through. 12KGF behaves the same way as gold.
