The pendant is made of EIGHT Oyster Shell beads surrounding a large Oyster shell center stone for a total of NINE. The twisted silver wire can be seen surrounding the center stone along with mini sterling silver beads. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.
Oyster shells are said to represent protection, abundance, and fertility. In many spiritual traditions, they symbolize the power of creation. The spiral pattern is often associated with growth, renewal, and cycles of life. Some believe these pieces to have a pure calming power, while others believe that they bring a sense of awareness and understanding.
