DESCRIPTION:

This bolo tie is a true treasure! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by Wilbert Muskett Sr., out of genuine sterling silver and real Turquoise stones. The Bolo piece has a total of TWO stones that are gently set in hand cut bezel settings while being accented by twisted silver, mini silver beads, along with a hand crafted bear paw design for a delightful finish. In Native American beliefs, the bear paw is usually considered a way to call for the power of the animal spirit, or as an indication of the presence of the spirit. It is a symbol that represents inner strength. The tips of the bolo tie are accented with traditional imprinted designs. The bolo tie is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
