DESCRIPTION:

The American Southwest is known for its amazing landscapes, historical culture, and unique jewelry designs. We are proud to be a part of that by introducing southwestern jewelry that delivers a piece of that history to fans everywhere.  The stunning jewelry collections found at our website showcase products such as inlay jewelry in which stones are delicately set next to each other to form some of the most elegant pieces of jewelry. Some artists specialize in overlay jewelry, which is a process of using multiple layers of silver or gold stacked on top of each other to create pieces that can be cherished for a lifetime.  Other artists perfect needlepoint jewelry, which is a process of setting stones tightly grouped together with astounding detail to create beautiful shapes and designs. Then, you have artists who create traditional pieces with the southwest style at the heart of the piece using feather work, stamp work, and stone combinations to produce jewelry that every collector or jewelry lover would appreciate.  So whether you’re looking for detail-packed inlay pieces such as Native American village and animal designs, or traditional work such as feather pieces and needlepoint jewelry, we have it all. Enthusiasts from all over the world shop on our website for the largest selection and the best quality products. From turquoise and coral patterns to a variety of multicolor and multi-stone designs, the southwestern jewelry that you will find on our website is unique and absolutely beautiful!

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.

I just received my 3rd order. It arrived 4 days after I ordered! Can't get any better than that! As usual, my order is exactly what I wanted and the quality of my items is tops! Each item is just as it was shown on the web site. After 3 orders, and being pleased with each order, I can say I am now a loyal customer of SilverTribe! Thanks for actually selling what is advertised!!

    Great value!

Recently I made my first purchase of a ring from Silver Tribe. It was exactly what I wanted and exactly what was shown on the web site! I don't like big jewelry and looking at the pic of the ring next to the coin was great for me to pick something that suited me. My order was on time and since then I have placed two more orders. Thanks Silver Tribe for a great value and beautiful jewelry!

    Merry Christmas to Me
Posted by Maryruth S. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
This is not the first time purchasing from Silver Tribe. I have purchased many things, mostly earrings. My latest were two rings. I am a opal fan, that is my most favorite. While scrolling throught the pages I came across one ring that had amethyst stone and opal on the setting, it is beautiful!!!! It was not extremely expensive, thank goodness and it is absolutely beautiful, the other is an opal ring as well, I think it said it was a purple opal, very pretty. I fell in love with them on line and when I saw them at my home, they were even prettyer. I have never been disappointed with any thing that I have purchased from Silver Tribe, and when I am working and some one loves my jewelry, I let them know I purchased it at Silver Tribe. Thank you silver tribe, I love your product and quality

    Looking back at Christmas
Posted by Randall G. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
Some years ago I started giving my wife and daughter the same things for Christmas -- Native American jewelry and pottery that have meaning beyond the gift. I use these, in part, to point my family toward our Native American heritage and the great sacrifices the indigenous people have sorely made. I have traced my Native American roots to the Carter Cherokees (I'm named Randall Carter Gray, after my maternal grandparents.) On my mother's side I apparently have a great, great, great grandmother Juda, who was a full-blooded Iroquois/Cherokee. The Carter Cherokees are famous, but they suffered greatly as did all Native Americans who happened to be living in the path west the U.S. forged. To all the Native Americans whose hands have created the beautiful jewelry and pottery, thank you so much.
