Pot measures approximately 4" tall, 2-3/8" wide, and is 5-5/8" long (front to back).

This beautiful style of Navajo art is called horse hair pottery because actual horse hair is added to the pottery at just the right moment in the firing process to melt the hairs into the pottery, creating unique and incredible designs. This excellent Bear fetish pottery was hand etched with traditonal patterns by Navajo artist Tom Vail Jr.

In Native American beliefs, the bear symbolizes physical strength, leadership, and is known as the "first helper".

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

I love this ring! It is a really nice, well made, quality, piece of wearable art. Due to the nature of my job, I can't wear it everyday, but I am so looking forward to my next special occasion. The ring arrived promptly and packaged well. Easy, great transaction. I'll be back!

I ordered the turquoise dragonfly earrings. They are so delicate and beautiful, the stonework meticulous. I’m obsessed with dragonflies and have lots of jewelry but these earrings are very special.

    Happy Returns!
Posted by Laura W. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
Ordered pendant and matching earrings-- stones were not a close enough match. Also ordered a second pair of earrings that arrived with a damaged stone. Called customer service twice and received terrific assistance from Tia and Stephanie (think those names are correct). Spent a few more dollars to get a pendant that better matches the earrings. Was informed damaged earrings could not be repaired and was issued a credit. Went onto your site, spent an additional $10.00 and used the credit to order another pair of earrings. Have received them--very pleased with all purchases and how efficiently returns were handled. I look forward to more purchases in the future.
