DESCRIPTION: 

This is a very exquisite necklace set that must not be overlooked! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted, by artist Sarah Yazzie, out of authentic sterling silver and a real Spiny Purple and Red Oyster Shell stone. The pendant has ONE stone that is delicately placed in a hand cut bezel setting, while being complimented by twisted silver and hand cut silver work for a wonderful finish. The pendant is stamped sterling and is hallmarked. The necklace is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver and real Spiny Purple and Red Oyster Shell beads. The necklace consists of 6-mm silver round beads and 6-mm Oyster Shell rondelle beads. Each end of the necklace is accented with a silver cone for a perfect finish. The cones are stamped sterling. 

Sterling Silver is a metal, which consists of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper. Although any metal can make up the 7.5% of non-silver component, years of study have shown that copper is most compatible, while aiding the solidity and durability of the metal without harming its beautiful color. The small amount of 7.5% copper added to all silver has almost no effect on the metals overall value. Due to the durability of sterling silver it is not only used for jewelry, but household accessories as well. Silver is known to last a lifetime with the proper care.
