DESCRIPTION:

This is a wonderful piece of Navajo artistry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artists Patrick and Laura Lincoln, out genuine sterling silver and multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Turquoise, Lapis, Lapis, Red and Orange Oyster Shell, along with man made Opal. The inlay is carefully set, while thin silver lines and hand cut silver work add style for an amazing finish. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.

I could not be happier with my ring. The ring size is true. Great craftsmanship. I will cherish this ring for life. I'm so happy, and you cannot beat the price for such quality, and the shipping was fast as well. My only problem is there are so many I want, i need more fingers. Thank you all so much, keep up the wonderful work.
