DESCRIPTION:

This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Ronnie Martinez, out of genuine sterling silver and real Malachite stones. This pair of earrings has a total of TWO stones (ONE in each earring) that are carefully placed in hand cut bezel settings, while hand cut silver work creates a striking scalloped leaf design. Hand crafted silver and mini silver beads can be seen highlighting for an excellent finish. The earrings are stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Malachite is famous for its radial banding and deep green color. Popular today for use in Southwestern style jewelry, malachite was also popular in the past with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. It was worn as a good luck charm to keep away danger and illness. It is believed to balance and stabilize ones emotions.
