The necklace is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver with 2 and 5-mm silver round beads along with 5-mm Coral round beads. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a magnificent finish. The cones are stamped sterling.
Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.
Sterling Silver is a metal, which consists of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper. Although any metal can make up the 7.5% of non-silver component, years of study have shown that copper is most compatible, while aiding the solidity and durability of the metal without harming its beautiful color.
