DESCRIPTION:

This lovely ring will definitely attract plenty of attention! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Lee Shorty, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opal. A total of four stones are delicately placed in hand cut bezel settings, while hand crafted silver work creates delightful flower design. Mini silver beads accent for a lovely finish. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
