This necklace is a true treasure! The necklace is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver and real Malachite beads. The necklace consists of: 2-mm silver round beads and Malachite round beads that beautifully graduate, allowing the largest center beads to measure 6-mm and the smallest beads at the end to measure 4-mm. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a stunning finish. The cones are stamped sterling.

Malachite is famous for its radial banding and deep green color. Popular today for use in Southwestern style jewelry, malachite was also popular in the past with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. It was worn as a good luck charm to keep away danger and illness. It is believed to balance and stabilize ones emotions.
