DESCRIPTION:

This lovely necklace will definitely attract plenty of attention! This piece of Southestern jewelry is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver, along with Malachite, Fire Agate, and black Onyx beads. The necklace consists of: 3-mm silver round beads, 10-mm Malachite round beads, 12-mm Fire Agate round beads, and 6-mm black Onyx rondelle beads. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a beautiful finish. The cones are stamped sterling.

Malachite is famous for its radial banding and deep green color. Popular today for use in Southwestern style jewelry, malachite was also popular in the past with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. It was worn as a good luck charm to keep away danger and illness. It is believed to balance and stabilize ones emotions.
