This lovely pair of earrings is a work of art and has everything you could possibly want from a piece of Native American jewelry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Erma Esalalio, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opals. The earrings have a total of SIXTEEN stones (EIGHT in each earring) that are delicately placed in hand cut bezel settings for a wonderful look.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
