This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand strung out of genuine sterling silver along with real Turquoise and Howlite beads. The necklace consists of: 3-mm silver round beads, 8-mm Howlite round beads, and 7-mm Turquoise rondelle beads. Each end of the necklace is highlighted with a silver cone for a marvelous look. The cones are stamped sterling. The earrings perfectly match the necklace, consisting of: 8-mm Howlite round beads, and 10-mm Turquoise rondelle beads.
Howlite is named after its discoverer Henry How. Howlite is known for its great final polish and rich luster. Howlite is often mistaken for "white buffalo" or "white turquoise" due to the similarity of appearance.
