This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Andrew Vandever, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opal stones. A total of THREE stones are set into hand cut bezel settings, while hand crafted silver work creates lovely leaf patterns. Mini silver beads accent the stones for a magnificent finish.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
