DESCRIPTION:

This lovely necklace is a work of art and has everything you could possibly want from a piece of Native American jewelry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand strung out of genuine sterling silver and real multicolor beads. The necklace is made up of THREE strands that consist of: 10-mm Turquoise rondelle beads, 8-mm Turquoise and Purple Oyster Shell rondelle beads, 6-mm Turquoise and Lapis rondelle beads, 6-mm Coral round beads, 12-mm Turquoise round beads, 8-mm Tiger Eye, Sodalite and Lapis round beads, 10-mm Onyx round beads, silver round beads that range from 3-mm to 5-mm, 6-mm Onyx barrel beads, 8-mm Oyster Shell wheel beads, along with 8-mm fancy silver imprinted beads. The THREE strands in this necklace elegantly graduate, while being held together by TWO 18-mm fancy silver divider beads so that the necklace will lay perfectly around your neck. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a stunning look. The cones are stamped sterling.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin, it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
