This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Freda Martinez, out of genuine sterling silver and real Howlite stone. The stone is gently set in a hand cut bezel setting, while mini silver beads and twisted silver accent the stone for a stunning finish.

Howlite is named after its discoverer Henry How. Howlite is known for its great final polish and rich luster. Howlite is often mistaken for "white buffalo" or "white turquoise" due to the similarity of appearance. Howlite is a combination of pure white with black veins; highlighting the beauty and balance of opposites. Howlite has high calcium content for strong healthy bones and teeth. It would make a wonderful gift for a pregnant or nursing mother.
