Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is used to design the individual intricate overlay. In this ring, the second layer forms beautiful scenery including mountains, animals, and patterns. The overlay is slightly larger than the band, allowing the detailed overlay to spin around band. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
