This is a very exquisite ring that must not be overlooked! This piece of jewelry is hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver and multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Turquoise, Red Oyster Shell, Picture Rock, Yellow Mother of Pearl, Black Jade, and man made Opal. The inlay is carefully set and forms a beautiful look. This piece features incredible, detailed inlay work that forms captivating Native American village designs. The scenery includes a village located beneath the beautiful night sky that is filled with a variety of stars. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is October's birthstone. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens one's psychic and mystical qualities.

Lapis Post Earrings
Posted by Earle G. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on “ I am a huge fan of pretty much anything southwestern and am always looking for earrings that are different. In the past I have always worn only studs but when I saw these I thought why not give them a try thinking maybe they were not too long. When I tried them on I was amazed I like the post style and the length was perfect. Will be looking for some more - these got 5***** ”
