DESCRIPTION:

This belt buckle is a true piece of Southwest artistry! This belt buckle is a gorgeous piece of jewelry that is hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver and Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Turquoise, Picture Rock, Tiger Eye, Magenta Turquoise, Oyster Shell, Black Jade, Yellow and White Mother Of Pearl along with man made Opal. The inlay is delicately set, while creating a stunning Native American Pueblo or Village Design. A beautiful starry sky, along with a village and desert mountains beneath are shown in this magnificent scene. The detail in this piece is absolutely captivating and will draw plenty of compliments! An imprinted design surrounds the inlay and completes the piece beautifully. Belt buckle is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Jade helps you gather wisdom through dreams; very useful stone for making decisions.

    LOVE IT BUT........
Posted by Deborah C. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
This necklace is very pretty, but it is also on a shorter chain. Normally I would add an extension to the chain, but this one screws in the back which does not allow for an extension. I will keep it, and if it weren't so expensive I would take it to a jeweler to redo the clasp.
