DESCRIPTION:

This gorgeous pendant is absolutely distinctive in each and every way! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Samuel Yellowhair, out of authentic sterling silver and a man made Pink Opal stone. The stone is carefully placed in a hand cut bezel setting, while being complimented by twisted silver, mini silver beads, and hand cut designs for an elegant look. The pendant is stamped .925 (sterling silver) and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
