DESCRIPTION:
Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Southwestern art! This piece of jewelry is crafted out of genuine sterling silver and Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Turquoise, Jasper, Mojave Turquoise, Magenta Turquoise, Yellow and White Mother of Pearl, along with man made Opal. This piece features unique, detailed inlay work that forms a wonderful Native American Village Design. In this amazing scene, a village can be seen beneath a beautiful blue sky filled with stars! The inlay is gently set in a lovely turtle design, while imprinted water wave designs can be seen accenting for a perfect finish. In some beliefs, the turtle represents strength, female power and fertility. The turtle is also considered to be able to defy death. Also, in some beliefs, water waves design represent continuous life. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
Jasper is the birthstone of July, it is a powerful healer; strengthening; grounding; and protects you from negative energy.
Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
