DESCRIPTION:
This is a wonderful piece of Native American artistry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand strung out of genuine sterling silver, along with real multicolor beads and multicolor inlay beads. The necklace consists of: 8-mm Lapis round beads, 10-mm Onyx round beads, 7-mm silver round beads, 7-mm Turquoise rondelle beads, 8-mm Purple Agate rondelle beads, along with 14-mm inlay beads. The necklace features THREE inlay beads that consist of: real Turquoise, Lapis, Purple Agate, Magenta Turquoise, Apple Coral and man made Opal. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a gorgeous look. Cones are stamped sterling.
Lapis is the perfect stone for wisdom and fortitude. It is also believed to be an excellent stone for decision makers. It helps increase psychic ability.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.
