DESCRIPTION:

There is nothing at all average about this beautiful necklace! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand strung out of genuine sterling silver and real Multicolor beads. The necklace consists of: 2-mm Silver round beads, Turquoise free formed beads that have an average measurement of 10-mm, along with 9-mm Orange and Purple Oyster Shell wheel beads. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for an elegant finish. The cones are stamped sterling.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

“ I asked and paid for 2-day Priority Mail and SilverTribe shipped it 3- day Priority Mail! Did not get in time for my wife's Birthday because of a screw up at the post office, that how I found out about the postage I have e-mailed SilverTribe about this now I'll see what they do about it!!! ”

The only comment I have is that when I order from you, I have noticed that if they are shipped via the post office, I get them in 2-3 days and if by UPS, 5-7 days. Do not ship USPS!!!

“ I love the jewelry although I am not the one to wear it. But unless you can ship the items other than the USPS, i will not buy any more of your products in the future. The envelope was too small, got mislaid by he carrier. I had to make 3 trips to the post office, which required me to drive 76 miles before I was finally able to retrieve the item. The Saturday delivery wound up to be on Wednesday. ”
