The necklace is made up of THREE strands that consist of: 6-mm Onyx, Picture Rock, and silver round beads, 6-mm Turquoise wheel beads, along with 6-mm Purple Oyster Shell rondelle beads. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone for a beautiful look. The cones are stamped sterling. The earrings match the pendant perfectly and create a wonderful finish to this set. The earrings are stamped sterling.
Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

I was looking to replace my Ray Jack ring and found this item. Wasn’t really wanting to buy over internet, but I did. A beautiful ring at a great price. The store has a lot of great looking items and what you see is what you get. I noticed the ring I purchased did get removed from site listing the next day, it was mine! Fast ship, ring A+.

    Earrings with a modern touch
Posted by Pb B. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
I am a monochromatic dresser - one color from head to toe. The many shades of turquoise compliment this style of dressing in a clean and natural way. The face with a lovely earring becomes the enhanced part of the outfit. The single color elongates the body too.
