Enjoy lovely Southwest artistry with this gorgeous cuff bracelet! This bracelet is a fantastic piece of jewelry that is hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver and Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Turquoise, Magenta Turquoise, Red Oyster Shell, Yellow Mother of Pearl, Black Jade, and man made Opal. This piece features lovely detailed inlay work that forms a terrific Native American Village or Pueblo Design. In this scene, a village can be seen under a marvelous red sky with shooting stars! The inlay is carefully placed on a silver cuff for a gorgeous finish. The bracelet is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
