DESCRIPTION:

This bracelet is a Southwestern classic! This piece of jewelry is crafted out of genuine sterling silver and Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Mother of Pearl, Mojave Turquoise, Picture Rock, Jet, along with man made Blue and White Opal. This piece features amazing detailed inlay work that forms a stunning Native American Village Design. In this beautiful scene a village is seen beneath a stunning night sky filled with shinning stars! The inlay is delicately set, while overlaid designs can be seen accenting for an elegant finish. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this bracelet, the second layer forms a lovely feather design. Feathers are symbols of prayers, marks of honor or sources of ideas. They represent the Creative Force. The bracelet is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

I really appreciate the descriptions and size comparisons for each piece. Everything I ever purchase arrives quickly and if I want to exchange or return (which is rare) it is handled quickly and personally. I recommend silvertribe.com to friends and they always thank me. Great prices and most of all every piece is high quality.

    Beautiful pottery
Posted by Bernice M. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
I had previously gotten 2 horsehair cat statues thru Silvertribe and love them. The kittens and turtles were available this time and I just had to get them. Both arrived in 3 days to the east coast. Very well packaged and they are both beautiful. I also got a silver sun Navajo pendant which is just lovely. As always great delivery service from Silvertribe and really glad I can buy Navajo pieces.

    money clips
Posted by Leslie M. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
I order two money clips. The weight seemed to less then other ones I have ordered from them. They both were dirty with a black substance, which must have been used for polishing. I don't think I will be ordering from them in the near future.

    Sterling Craftsmanship
Posted by Nancy V. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
My last purchase from SILVERTRIBE was a pair of silver earrings. They are small, but as always the craftsmanship is exceptional. I've purchased many items from this site and have loved each of them. I really like the idea of them being handcrafted and I feel a kinship with the creator.
