DESCRIPTION:

This is a very gorgeous ring that would make a great gift! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Jeanette Saunders, out of genuine sterling silver and a real Magenta Turquoise stone. The stone is carefully placed in a hand cut bezel setting and is highlighted with twisted silver, mini silver beads, and stamped designs for a fabulous finish. The ring is stamped .925 (sterling) and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

“ Originally ordered a Lapis inlay, but cuff turned out to be too small (my own fault for not properly measuring). When I spoke to the help line, they found another cuff, albeit with turquoise to replace it. I shipped back the original, and they sent me a perfectly fitting turquoise one. “ several weeks ago I received a men's bracelet that did not work for me. I called h Heide and she walked me through the return and help in selectin one that was more suited to my size arm ( very thin) all went well and Heide is great in my book. A lot of buisness would not help that much. ”
