DESCRIPTION:

What a beautiful pair of earrings! The earrings are a gorgeous piece of jewelry that are handmade out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Jet and man made Opal inlay. The inlay is carefully set while placed on top of a gorgeous feather design. The earrings are highlighted with thin silver lines, stamped patterns, and cut through designs for a marvelous finish. Feathers are symbols of prayers, marks of honor or sources of ideas. They represent the Creative Force. The earrings are stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
