This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Betty Begaye, out of genuine sterling silver and a real Howlite stone. The pendant has ONE stone that is gently set in a hand cut bezel setting, while being accented by delightful twisted silver, along with hand cut silver work for a beautiful finish. The pendant is stamped .925 (sterling silver), and is hallmarked. The necklace is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver and real Howlite beads. The necklace consists of 2-mm silver round beads and 6-mm Howlite round beads. Each end of the necklace is accented with a silver cone for a perfect finish. The cones are stamped sterling. 

Howlite is named after its discoverer Henry How. Howlite is known for its great final polish and rich luster. Howlite is often mistaken for "white buffalo" or "white turquoise" due to the similarity of appearance. Howlite is a combination of pure white with black veins; highlighting the beauty and balance of opposites. Howlite has high calcium content for strong healthy bones and teeth.
