MEASUREMENTS:

Ring is size 5-3/4, it measures approximately 1/4" long and 3/4" wide.

DESCRIPTION:

This ring is a true treasure! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Loyd Kanesta, out of genuine sterling silver and real Turquoise inlay. The inlay is carefully set, while thin silver lines can be seen accenting for a stunning look. The ring is hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

    Bracelet stone replacement.
Posted by Jimmie W. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
I have purchased threeitems from silver tribe, and have been very pleased with all of them, however had a stone fall out of one bracelet, I was lucky to find the stone, and contacted the support group at silver tribe, and sent the bracelet back for repair, they were very kind, and repaired the bracelet like new and mailed it back to me within the week. Thanks for being such a great company, look forward to shopping with you again soon! Jimmie.

    Awesome Jewelry!

I have been purchasing jewelry from Silver Tribe for about a year. All pieces have been of the highest quality. I must say that the pictures on the website do not do the items justice. Each piece has been absolutely beautiful. I will continue to purchase from Silver Tribe.

    Rare Beauty
Posted by Patricia B. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
Although some calendars claim Aquamarine is March's birthstone is, I prefer turquoise. My first jewelry at the age of 12 was a turquoise ring I still have it; it cost me a dollar. My first needlepoint bracelet cost $99, but it would cost $4-500 to replace. After my home flooded, someone who claimed to be there to help my husband & I clean up was actually there to steal. He took the needlepoint. Two Hopi Indian brothers had designed it, & it was spectacular. I still miss it. Maybe someday I'll find one as beautiful. Now I'm just trying to get special friends their own turquoise. Thanks for helping with that.
