There is nothing at all average about this beautiful necklace! This necklace is hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver, and real multicolor beads. The necklace consists of: 2-mm Silver round beads, 6-mm Onyx rondelle beads, 6-mm Howlite round beads, 6-mm Malachite wheel beads, and a magnificent 34-mm Jasper hand carved leaf bead. Each end of the necklace is completed with a Silver cone for a dazzling finish. The cones are stamped Sterling.
Howlite is named after its discoverer Henry How. Howlite is known for its great final polish and rich luster. Howlite is often mistaken for "white buffalo" or "white turquoise" due to the similarity of appearance. Howlite is a combination of pure white with black veins; highlighting the beauty and balance of opposites. Howlite has high calcium content for strong healthy bones and teeth. It would make a wonderful gift for a pregnant or nursing mother.
Malachite is famous for its radial banding and deep green color. Popular today for use in Southwestern style jewelry, malachite was also popular in the past with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans.
