The ring is a gorgeous piece of jewelry that is crafted out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Jet and man made Opal inlay. The inlay is carefully set while thin silver lines can be seen highlighting in between for a wonderful look. Cut through designs accent and complete the ring perfectly. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
