DESCRIPTION:

The craftsmanship showcased in this butterfly ring is simply extraordinary! The ring is a stunning piece of jewelry that is hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver and Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Oyster Shell, Black Jade, and man made Opal. The inlay is carefully placed, while being set on top of an outstanding butterfly design. Thin silver lines and cut through work can be seen accenting and completing the ring gorgeously. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
