The stone is delicately placed in a hand cut bezel setting, while hand crafted silver work creates stunning scalloped leaf designs. Silver beads accent the ring for a striking look. The ring is stamped sterling.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
