MATERIALS:

Sterling silver and man made Blue Opal.

MEASUREMENTS:

Ring is size 6, it measures approximately 3/4" long and 5/8" wide.

DESCRIPTION:

This gorgeous ring is absolutely distinctive in each and every way! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Amos Begay, out of genuine sterling silver and a man made Blue Opal. The stone is gently set in a hand cut shadow box bezel setting, while hand cut silver work can be seen accenting for a charming finish. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.

    Native Kinship

. . .Just recently received my new pendant, though there was somewhat of a delay in shipment which I did not experience the first time I ordered from SilverTribe. . .I am VERY pleased with my merchandise. . .It looks so much more beautiful in person than the photograph. .I haven't decided to utilize a leather strand or a silver chain to accompany my pendant; but either way, I can't wait to wear it!!!????
