DESCRIPTION:

This is a very exquisite necklace that must not be overlooked! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted, by artist Bobby Platero out of genuine sterling silver and real Turquoise stones. The necklace consists of 4-mm Old Pawn style silver round beads, along with real Turquoise stones. A total of FIVE stones; each link consists of ONE stone that is delicately set in silver bezel settings while mini stamped silver beads and TWO dazzling feather dangle pieces can be seen accenting the necklace for a stunning finish. Feathers are symbols of prayers, marks of honor or sources of ideas. They represent the Creative Force. The necklace is stamped .925 (sterling) and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

    PERFECT color, shape, design

LOVE LOVE LOVE the robin's egg blue turquoise and the 'water wave' design opposite it. The ring is simple yet striking and is the perfect length for my finger -- not quite to my knuckle. In a Zoom and it struck the attention of my colleagues! Highly recommended.
