DESCRIPTION

The beautiful features in this necklace will make you appreciate Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand strung out of genuine sterling silver, along with real multicolor beads, and multicolor inlay divider beads. The necklace is made up of FIVE strands that consist of: 3-mm Coral round beads, 8-mm Charoite rondelle beads, along with 6-mm Turquoise, Pink Coral, and Red Coral round beads. The FIVE strands in this necklace are being held together by TWO 16-mm multicolor inlay divider beads that consists of: real Turquoise, Orange Oyster Shell, Magenta Turquoise, and man made Opal. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver bead and cone for a perfect finish. The cones and divider beads are stamped sterling.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.
