FOUR dangles can be seen accenting the bottom of the necklace for a marvelous finish. The necklace is stamped sterling and hallmarked. The earrings perfectly match the necklace and have a total of SEVENTY SIX Turquoise needlepoint stones (THIRTY EIGHT in each earring). The earrings are stamped sterling and hallmarked. The set has a total of TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONE needlepoint stones.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

For my first purchase at SilverTribe I I splurged on a gorgeous pendant and earring set in magenta turquoise - I didn't even know there was such a thing! The richness of the purple set in the simply crafted silver makes an understated but eye-catching statement for any outfit. I look forward to my next discovery!
