DESCRIPTION:

The beautiful features in this necklace, pendant, and earring set will make you appreciate Native American art! The pendant is hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver and multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Turquoise, Magenta Turquoise, Red Oyster Shell, Black Jade, along with man made Opal. The detailed inlay work forms a delightful Native American Village Design. A beautiful starry sky is shown above a village in this adorable scenery. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked. The necklace is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver and multicolor beads. The necklace consists of: 10-mm real Onyx round beads, 8-mm Turquoise and Purple Agate rondelle beads, 9-mm Orange Oyster Shell beads, 8-mm Purple Agate barrel beads, and 7-mm silver round beads. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a gorgeous look. The cones are stamped sterling. The earrings match the pendant perfectly and create a wonderful finish to this set. The earrings are stamped sterling.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Turquoise silver Native American Navajo Indian Mens Pendant
Posted by Phyllis S. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
This just arrived and I am more than pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it is. My son is going to love it. This is my 1st SilverTribe purchase but it won't be the last! The quality and value is much greater at SilverTribe than at the two other Native American sites than I have previously ordered from.
