DESCRIPTION:

This gorgeous squash blossom is absolutely distinctive in each and every way!  This jewelry set is hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Turquoise and man made Opal Inlay. The necklace is composed of one Naja (the crescent-shaped large center piece) and double strands of 7-mm silver round beads placed at regular intervals among the round side of the center. The Naja is set with TWO extraordinary inlaid pieces, while each side of the necklace has FIVE stunning inlaid links for a gorgeous look. The inlay is gently set in ELEVEN links, while thin silver lines and hand crafted work create stunning designs. Entire traditional necklace is flexible "not stiff". The necklace is stamped sterling and is halmarked. The Inlay on the earrings match the necklace for a gorgeous finish. This entire set has a total of THIRTEEN inlay settings.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.

Turquoise silver Native American Navajo Indian Mens Pendant

This just arrived and I am more than pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it is. My son is going to love it. This is my 1st SilverTribe purchase but it won't be the last! The quality and value is much greater at SilverTribe than at the two other Native American sites than I have previously ordered from.
