The inlay consists of: real Red Oyster Shell, Lapis, Mojave Turquoise, and man made Opal. The necklace has a total of NINE links. The inlay is delicately set into FIVE links, while creating stunning Butterfly designs for a gorgeous look. A total of FIVE Red Oyster Shells and TEN Opal stones are carefully set in silver bezel while accenting the necklace beautifully. The necklace is completed with a box clasp that is highlighted with a single shell and twisted silver that adds style. The necklace is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is October's birthstone. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens one's psychic and mystical qualities.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

    Even more beautiful in person!
Posted by Amy M. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
I was afraid the pictures made the jewelry look better than it did in person, but when I opened the package I was absolutely amazed at how stunning the rings really were. I actually emailed silver tribe asking where I could review them because I'm so happy with my purchase. They arrived before the estimated date. I will definitely be getting more items.

    Christmas earrings
Posted by William W. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
I bought the wrong style of earrings (post) for my wife for Christmas. Remembering that she only wears HOOK style earrings, I had no trouble at all having customer service credit my account so that I could come back & pick out a new pair. Thank you & kudos to the Silver Tribe staff for their patience. You made it so easy for the return & replacement! You have a life long customer.
