DESCRIPTION:

Check out this fabulous bead necklace! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand strung out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Multicolor beads and multicolor inlay. The necklace is made up of FOUR strands that consist of: 5-mm Turquoise wheel beads, 6-mm Coral and Purple Oyster Shell rondelle beads, along with Turquoise and Oyster Shell free formed beads with an average measurement of 7-mm. The FOUR strands in this necklace are being held together by two 16-mm inlaid divider beads so that the necklace will lay perfectly around your neck. The inlay beads are handmade out of genuine sterling silver and Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Turquoise, Magenta Turquoise, along with Orange and Red Oyster Shell. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a beautiful look. The cones are stamped sterling.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin, it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

    size
Posted by Mike H. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
IF it were half the size it would be comfortable to wear all the time, but it is a little to big in size...very nice piece, it is just to large for everyday wear..
