DESCRIPTION:

Enjoy marvelous Southwest artistry with this gorgeous ring! The ring is a terrific piece of jewelry that is hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver and Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Turquoise, Picture Rock, Black Jade, Red Oyster Shell, and man made Opal. This piece features incredible, detailed inlay work that forms impressive Native American Village designs. In this extraordinary scene, a village can be seen beneath a lovely moonlit sky! The inlay is carefully set, while imprinted designs are then shown accenting and completing the ring beautifully! The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.

I'll be giving these to my wife for Christmas & I couldn't be more pleased. We've spent a lot of time in Arizona so I'm sure she will love these.

I purchased several pendants and silver chains, and everything was fantastic. The quality was great, and the items looked just as good in person as they did on the web site. I really like to support native American artists!

    turquoise inlay ring
Posted by Joan R. | Reviewing SilverTribe.com | Posted on
I'm always apprehensive about buying online, but after several trips through the category, I settled on a turquoise inlay ring. I was a little worried that it would be larger than what I wanted to wear with a couple silver stacking rings. It turned out to be daintier, perfect, and beautiful color and quality of workmanship. I will definitely consider buying again from Silver Tribe.
