Sterling silver, real Lapis, Coral, Sugilite, along with man made Blue and White Opal.
Hook dangle earrings measure approximately 1-3/4" long (including hook) and 5/8" wide.
This pair of earrings is a true treasure! This piece of Native American Jewelry is Navajo, hand crafted by artist Wilson Dawes, out of genuine sterling silver and real Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Lapis, Coral, Sugilite, along with man made Blue and White Opal. The inlay is delicately set, creating a fabulous Kokopelli design, while thin silver lines can be seen highlighting for a wonderful finish. The Kokopelli is a common fertility symbol throughout the Southwest. In Native American beliefs, the Kokopelli visits various communities, seducing and impregnating the young women drawn to the tones of his flute playing. The earrings are stamped sterling.
Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.
Lapis is the perfect stone for wisdom and fortitude. It is also believed to be an excellent stone for decision makers. It helps increase psychic ability.
