DESCRIPTION:

Expect plenty of complements while wearing this stunning belt buckle! This piece of Native American jewelry is Hopi overlay hand crafted by artist George Phillips, out of genuine sterling silver. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this belt buckle, the second layer forms a fantastic Corn Stalk and other Native American designs that gives the piece a gorgeous finish. Corn is a powerful symbol in many tribes. It is used for prayer of fertility and a good growing season. The belt buckle is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

“ I make my own jewelry but found that the liquid silver (sterling) beads were not only more expensive than buying at SilverTribe but now I don't have to deal with stringing thousands of microscopic beads! And the beads are microscopic - 1mm x 2mm. For liquid silver, that matters. The smaller the bead, the more "liquid" it looks. Many other places take the easy way out and use larger beads - at the expense of quality. I LOVE my necklace - terrific quality, fast service, excellent customer relations. No problems what-so-ever. ”
