This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Sanford Edaakie, out of genuine sterling silver and real Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: Turquoise, Coral, Abalone Shell, Jet, along with White and Yellow Mother of Pearl. The inlay is carefully set creating a wonderful Parrot design for a delightful look. Parrots are connected with both the sun and the coming of the rains. Parrots were considered carriers of these specific prayers and would confer blessings. Kept for their feathers and color by many Pueblo people (secured through trade with people to the far South), they were considered a very expensive possession thereby denoting prosperity. The bracelet is hallmarked by the artist.
