Sterling silver, real Coral, and Howlite.
Ring is size 8, it measures approximately 1-3/4" long and 7/8" wide.
This is a very exquisite ring that must not be overlooked! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Susan Yazzie, out of genuine sterling silver along with a real Coral and Howlite stones. A total of TWO stones are gently set in a hand cut bezel, while being accented with mini silver beads, twisted silver, and silver work for a gorgeous look. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.
Howlite is named after its discoverer Henry How. Howlite is known for its great final polish and rich luster. Howlite is often mistaken for "white buffalo" or "white turquoise" due to the similarity of appearance. Howlite is a combination of pure white with black veins; highlighting the beauty and balance of opposites. Howlite has high calcium content for strong healthy bones and teeth. It would make a wonderful gift for a pregnant or nursing mother.
