One to form the foundation, while the second layer is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this belt buckle the second layer forms a gorgeous Eagle in the wild pattern. In Native American beliefs, the eagle is the master of the sky; he is considered to be a carrier of prayers. Many of the Indian Nations admire the eagle for bravery and special connections to the creator. This is often confused with the "thunderbird" image concept. Eagle is also a Directional Protector (the Sky) spirit, and an image associated with spirits and visions. Belt buckle is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
